Brilliant that they let you use your own containers(as long as they are clean) to take meat away. Great for reducing single use plastic. More than the supermarkets are doing!
Great family run butchers, always feels like the customer comes first. Open early and Sundays. A really good part of the community.
Worst customer service ever! Walked in for the first time, noticed that there were pre-packed bags of mince meat in the display fridge (open for the customers), only to be shouted at that I mustn't touch or pick up anything from there. So I said, firstly, there's no sign saying that, secondly, if I were to ask for it, someone still need to pick them up (just like I did) and hand it to me...The woman behind the counter kept insisting that now I must pay for it which of course I was prepared to, but she was so rude all this time only because I dared to pick up a pre packed bag of meat, that I just got fed up and left.
What a fantastic family butchers. Always value for money and quality food. I'd rather go here than any of the local big supermarkets. Friendly staff and always willing to tell you what's on offer or the best curs in.
