Food lovely. Sat in front bar and shelves and sides in their covered in dust and had patches of dust where items once were. Lovely fireplace but no fire on in middle of winter!
Meat was tough, fatty and very salty. The potatoes were over cooked. Peas were yellow and the Yorkshire's were stale. (Solid even after being soaked in gravy). I think the food was just sat there for too long, but I still couldn't eat it. Beer was nice though.
Food ok, quite scruffy inside with slug trails on the carpet and mismatched chairs around the tables that had that "second hand" look. Staff really friendly though.
Staff were friendly, the food was good and they serve bottomless ice cream. I can't complain with that. We had a table of 13 for Sunday lunch and they accommodated nicely.
Food was lovely but had to wait for more meat to be cooked. Downside of it was the damn flies that were even getting on the food. Also it needs a good clean and update. Was going to have dessert but flies sent me away.
